Land forms

1. Gorge - a narrow valley between hills or mountains, typically with steep rocky walls and a stream running through it.Indus Gorge is world's deepest gorge.

2. Scree - a mass of small loose stones that form or cover a slope on a mountain.Scree

3. Glacier - glacier is a huge mass of ice that moves slowly over land.  Baltoro glacier, Pakistan


Snowfield - snow fieldsnowfield is an accumulation of permanent snow and ice, typically found above the snow line, normally in mountainous and glacial terrain.Snowfield in northern mountains


4. Cirque/ corrie - A cirque is an valley formed by glacial erosion. these are mountain valley heads which have been shaped into deep hollows by the erosion of small glaciers.

Lake Saif ul Muluk is example of a cirque.
